Rooted in the Word.
Formed by the Gospel.
Sent on Mission.
At Image Church, our beliefs shape how we worship, serve, and live together as a family of faith. We hold tightly to the truth of Scripture and seek to live it out with clarity, conviction, and compassion.
These core beliefs represent essential elements of biblical teaching and are central to who we are.
Our Beliefs
ποΈ The Gospel
The gospel is the center of everything we believe and everything we do.
We believe that while we were dead in our sin, God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a perfect life on our behalf, die a substitutionary death to pay the penalty for our sin, and rise again to offer new life through His Spirit. The gospel is not just how we begin the Christian life β itβs the foundation and fuel for every step forward.
βοΈ God
One God, three persons β Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three distinct persons. He is the Creator of everything, completely holy, full of love and truth, and worthy of all worship.
π Scripture
Godβs Word is true, trustworthy, and transformative.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, revealing who He is, how we are to live, and the redemptive story of His love for us. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and life.
π₯ Humanity
Created in Godβs image β for His glory and purpose.
We believe every person is made in the image of God, with inherent dignity and purpose. Both men and women are equal partners in Godβs mission, reflecting His beauty and creativity.
π Sin & Salvation
Our greatest problem is sin. Our greatest hope is Jesus.
We believe sin separates us from God, but salvation is freely given through faith in Jesus Christ. By His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, made new, and restored to right relationship with God.
βͺ The Church
Godβs people, living on mission together.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ β a people, not just a place. Every believer is called to belong to a local church for spiritual growth, mutual encouragement, and gospel witness.
π± Discipleship
We grow by becoming more like Jesus β together.
Every disciple is called to grow as:
Worshipers β loving God above all
Family Members β committed to gospel community
Servants β using gifts to build others up
Stewards β managing resources for Godβs purposes
Witnesses β proclaiming Christ with words and actions
π§ Baptism
An outward sign of an inward reality.
We believe baptism by immersion is the first public act of confession and obedience for those who have placed their faith in Jesus. Itβs a symbol of dying to sin and being raised to new life in Christ.
π§βπ€βπ§ Church Leadership
Servant-hearted leaders who equip and shepherd the church.
We believe Jesus established two primary leadership roles within the church:
Elders (pastors/overseers) who lead, teach, and protect
Deacons who serve and support the needs of the body
π Mission
Every member is a minister. Every believer is sent.
God has called us to declare and demonstrate His love β locally and globally. As a church, weβre committed to making disciples of all nations, sending people into neighborhoods, cities, and unreached places with the hope of the gospel.
