Groups @ Image
We believe life with Jesus isn't meant to be lived alone. While Sunday gatherings anchor us in worship and the Word, real growth happens in smaller spaces where people are known, encouraged, and challenged to follow Jesus together.
Groups@Image are where that happens—where authentic relationships form and faith gets lived out in everyday life.
Our Philosophy on Groups
At Image Church, we exist to help people discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus. That kind of growth happens best in biblical community.
God designed us for relationship—with Him and with each other. Our Sunday gatherings give us a weekly opportunity to worship, hear faithful teaching, and rehearse the gospel. But meaningful transformation often takes place in smaller, more personal spaces where people are known, prayed for, and walking through life together.
That's why groups are central to who we are. They create space for authentic relationships and a shared journey of following Jesus.
Group life at Image Church isn't about doing everything at once—it's about taking one next step into biblical community.
Types of Groups
Community Groups
Community Groups meet bi-weekly in host homes to build relationships and grow together. These are proximity or stage-of-life based groups where we study God's Word, share life, and support each other through everyday moments.
Structure:
Size: 10–12 adults
Frequency: Every other week
Focus: Connection, Scripture, prayer, shared life
Best for: Anyone wanting more than just Sunday mornings—whether you're new, exploring faith, or ready to go deeper.
Men's and Women's Groups
Men's and Women's Groups meet every other month and provide intentional spaces where men meet with men and women meet with women to connect, have fun, and grow in faith together. With a low barrier to entry, they're a great first step into community.
Structure:
Size: Large, gender-specific gatherings
Frequency: Every other month
Focus: Broad connection, encouragement, teaching, testimony
Best for: A natural way to make connections and take a first step toward deeper community.
Bible/Book Studies
Bible Studies and Book Studies offer focused, short-term opportunities (4–8 weeks) to dive deeper into God's Word or a specific topic like marriage, parenting, theology, or spiritual disciplines.
Structure:
Size & Frequency: Varies
Focus: Content-focused learning and structured discussion
Best for: Growth alongside groups, not instead of them. Helpful for people already in a group or exploring faith.
Note: Short-term studies are valuable on-ramps into deeper community, but they're meant to complement, not replace, ongoing group life where lasting transformation happens through consistent relationships.
DNA Groups
DNA Groups are small, gender-specific groups of 3–4 (men with men, women with women) that meet for Discipleship, Nurture, and Accountability. These are the spaces where life-on-life discipleship happens—where intimate conversation is safe, honesty is expected, and struggles with sin can be brought into the light and fought against together.
DNA Groups are where the gospel moves beyond what we believe to shape how we live, offering deep encouragement, prayerful support, and practical accountability as we follow Jesus together.
Structure:
Size: 3–4, gender-specific
Frequency: Every other week
Focus: Confession and accountability, Scripture application, spiritual growth, mission
Best for: Anyone serious about growing as a disciple, especially leaders and those serving.
Our desire is for everyone who calls Image Church home to eventually be part of a DNA Group.
